Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The employee in this role will hold a pivotal position within the creative or marketing department, responsible for producing engaging and professional visual content. Key responsibilities include:
- Photography: Executing both studio and on-location photo shoots for company products, events, promotional materials, and team portraits while adhering to the highest standards of technical quality and composition.
- Videography: Shooting creative video footage for product marketing, company profiles, event coverage, and short-form content suitable for social media platforms.
- Video Editing & Post-Production: Editing raw footage using professional software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) to produce final videos with appropriate pacing, incorporating visual effects, graphics, music, and text as needed.
- Photo Editing & Retouching: Editing and enhancing photographs using software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to correct color, lighting, saturation, and remove imperfections to ensure flawless final results.
- Creative Development: Contributing fresh, creative ideas for photography and videography projects to enhance brand presence across various platforms.
- Equipment Management: Being responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of photography and editing equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
To be a suitable candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education & Experience:
- A university degree or diploma in Photography, Videography, Media, or a related field (is a strong advantage).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven professional experience in both photography and video editing.
- A strong professional portfolio showcasing your skills in both photography and video editing.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
- Proficiency in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Hands-on knowledge of professional camera systems (DSLR/Mirrorless), lenses, and various lighting techniques.
