Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Consultant in Podiatric Medicine to join a leading medical facility in Qatar. The role involves diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions, performing advanced surgeries, and supervising a specialized medical team. The ideal candidate is a board-certified podiatrist with extensive clinical and administrative experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for foot and ankle patients.
- Diagnose and manage complex conditions including foot deformities, arthritis, sports injuries, and diabetic foot problems.
- Perform specialized surgeries such as reconstructive procedures and arthroscopy.
- Supervise and train residents and healthcare practitioners.
- Participate in developing treatment protocols and improving care quality.
- Collaborate with other departments including orthopedics, sports medicine, and endocrinology.
- Attend scientific conferences and contribute to medical research.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Board Certification: American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) or American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS), or equivalent Canadian/British board.
- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of clinical experience post-board certification, including at least 5 years as a Consultant.
- Licensure: Valid medical license in the country of origin or practice.
- Skills: Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus), leadership abilities, and capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team.
