Job Description

The Principal, Financial Institutions Consulting will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced advisory solutions to clients in the financial sector, with a particular focus on institutions investing in or interfacing with the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for leading and executing complex consulting engagements from planning through to final delivery.

Key responsibilities are expected to include:

• Leading teams in developing and implementing specialized consulting strategies for financial institutions (investment banks, funds, insurance firms, etc.).
• Analyzing investment opportunities and financial risks within the healthcare sector and related emerging markets.
• Providing expert advisory on M&A, financial valuation, and business modeling for financial sector clients.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with senior executives at leading financial institutions in the region.
• Overseeing the preparation of complex analytical presentations and reports tailored to decision-makers' needs.
• Contributing to the development of internal knowledge and consulting practices, while mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Working closely with IQVIA's subject matter experts in healthcare to deliver integrated insights and unique value to clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

IQVIA is seeking candidates with a proven track record in management consulting or financial advisory, coupled with a deep understanding of financial institutions' mechanics.

Essential qualifications required:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Business, Economics, Management). An MBA or advanced financial qualification (e.g., CFA) is a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in management consulting or financial advisory, with a demonstrated focus on serving the financial institutions sector.
• Substantial hands-on experience working in the Saudi Arabian or broader GCC market, with a deep understanding of the regulatory and economic landscape.
• Exceptional analytical skills with experience in financial data modeling and forecasting.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage teams, and develop client relationships at the executive level.
• Full professional proficiency in English. Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
