Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Project & Claim Manager will be entrusted with comprehensive, multi-faceted responsibilities, including:
- Overall Project Management: Leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of the Group's projects (commercial, industrial, construction) from inception to final delivery, ensuring strict adherence to quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Team Leadership: Forming and leading a cross-functional project team, delegating tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring effective collaboration among all stakeholders (engineers, subcontractors, consultants, clients).
- Risk & Quality Management: Identifying potential risks early, developing mitigation plans, and ensuring all project work is executed according to the highest applicable quality and safety standards in the Kingdom and the international market.
- Contractual Claims Management: This is a core, defining responsibility of the role. The Manager will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing all contractual documents (contracts, specifications, drawings).

Qualifications & Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial) or in Business Administration with a relevant specialization. A Master's degree in Project Management or Construction Management is a strong advantage.
- Professional Certifications: A professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly desirable. Certifications in contract or claims management (e.g., from the International Institute of Claims Management) are a significant plus.
- Work Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in project management within the contracting or industrial sector, with a proven, hands-on track record of at least 5 years specifically in managing, preparing, and settling contractual claims on major projects.
- Technical Skills: Deep, practical understanding of common international contract forms (e.g., FIDIC), change management procedures, cost estimation, and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6). Strong analytical and accounting skills.
