Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Electrical Project Engineer will hold a pivotal position within the engineering management team, responsible for planning and overseeing the electrical aspects of projects from inception to final handover. Core responsibilities include:
- Technical Management & Planning: Prepare and execute detailed project plans for electrical works, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Review and evaluate electrical designs and drawings to ensure compliance with local and international standards and the project's technical specifications.
- Site Supervision & Execution: Provide direct on-site supervision of contractors and technicians to ensure all electrical works (distribution, lighting, control systems, security, and communication systems) are executed according to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Quality Control & Safety: Implement and manage comprehensive quality assurance and safety programs throughout all project phases. Conduct regular inspections and ensure full compliance with applicable building codes and safety regulations in the State of Qatar.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Quality Management System certifications) will be a strong advantage.
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in managing and executing electrical projects, preferably within major construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure). Experience in the Qatari or GCC market is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), and design/drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD). Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken). Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team. High analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure. Meticulous attention to detail.
