Job Overview

The Proposal Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the end-to-end development of competitive proposals. The role focuses on blending precise technical aspects with strategic commercial requirements to craft compelling bids that enhance the chances of winning projects and contracts. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and plan a comprehensive schedule for the proposal preparation process, from the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage to final submission.
• Analyze RFP/RFQ documents to gain a deep understanding of technical, commercial, and legal requirements.
• Effectively coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineers, technical experts, finance, and legal to gather accurate and integrated inputs.
• Develop and edit proposal content to ensure message clarity, persuasiveness, and compliance with all client stipulations, while highlighting competitive advantages and value propositions.
• Design and format proposals professionally to ensure readability and present complex information clearly.
• Ensure full compliance with all submission instructions and strict deadlines.
• Manage a content database (boilerplate content, case studies, company profiles) to streamline future preparation processes.
• Conduct post-submission reviews and analyze outcomes to identify strengths and areas for improvement in the process.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven practical experience of at least 5 to 7 years in a similar role as a senior Proposal Manager or Coordinator, with a strong focus on Techno-Commercial proposals.
• Deep understanding of engineering processes and technical concepts, with the ability to translate them into compelling commercial benefits.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to draft clear, persuasive, and error-free content.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and visual design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign or equivalent).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.
