Job Overview
The HR Manager will hold the leadership position responsible for developing and implementing the company's human resources strategies and procedures. Although the role is remote, interaction with the management team and employees at the company's location in Hidd will be regular and effective via digital channels. This role aims to ensure the company's compliance with local regulations, foster a positive work culture, and attract and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with Bahraini labor laws and company objectives.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from posting job ads, screening CVs, and conducting interviews to onboarding new employees.
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and entitlements processes in coordination with the finance department.
- Design and implement employee performance appraisal programs and career development plans.
- Address employee inquiries and resolve workplace conflicts effectively and confidentially.
- Ensure employee records are accurately updated and securely maintained.
- Contribute to building an organizational culture based on respect, transparency, and excellence.
- Prepare periodic HR reports for the company's management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (HR specialization) or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in Human Resources, with proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and relevant legislation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, HR software, and remote communication systems.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of initiative, responsibility, and organization.
- Previous experience in the restaurant, food, or retail sector will be highly regarded.
