The Risk Management Manager will occupy a pivotal role within the organization, serving as the primary authority responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop Risk Management Strategy: Lead the process of establishing and updating the risk management strategy and framework in alignment with global best practices (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) and organizational objectives.
  • Risk Identification & Assessment: Conduct systematic identification of operational, financial, strategic, technological, and compliance-related risks. Analyze their likelihood and impact, and develop proactive treatment plans.
  • Reporting: Prepare clear, periodic reports for the Board of Directors, relevant committees, and senior management on the risk landscape, the effectiveness of mitigation controls, and necessary recommendations.
  • Compliance Assurance: Monitor compliance with relevant local and international laws, regulations, and the organization's internal policies.
  • Foster Risk-Aware Culture: Design and implement awareness and training programs to enhance the understanding and management of risk across all organizational levels.
  • Crisis Management & Business Continuity Planning: Contribute to the development of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and incident/crisis response plans.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and guide the risk management team (if applicable) and develop their competencies.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or specialized professional certifications is a strong competitive advantage.
  • Professional Certifications: Preference will be given to candidates holding globally recognized risk management certifications such as:
    • Certified Risk Manager (CRM)
    • Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
    • Professional Risk Manager (PRM)
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical experience in risk management or related fields (internal audit, compliance, financial controls), with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of risk management standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in data analysis tools and Office software.
  • Personal Skills: Exceptional analytical and proactive skills. High-level communication, influence, and decision-making abilities. Strong integrity and professionalism.
