Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Sales & Marketing Manager will hold a pivotal leadership role within the company's structure, responsible for driving and executing strategies aimed at expanding market share and boosting revenue. The core responsibilities will focus on:
- Sales Team Leadership: Directly supervising the sales representative teams across different branches (Muscat, Sohar, Salalah), setting individual and team targets, and providing continuous coaching and mentorship to ensure the highest performance standards are met.
- Marketing Strategy Development: Formulating and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to promote the company's vehicle portfolio and after-sales services. This includes digital marketing (social media, email marketing, SEO), local events, and strategic partnerships.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Conducting ongoing market research to monitor trends in Oman's automotive sector, analyzing competitor performance, and identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ensuring an exceptional customer experience by setting high service standards, handling key or corporate accounts, and building long-term brand loyalty.
- Reporting & Budgeting: Preparing detailed periodic reports on sales performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management. This also involves assisting in the preparation and adherence to the sales and marketing department budget.
- Inter-Branch Coordination: Ensuring effective integration and coordination between sales and marketing activities in the Muscat, Sohar, and Salalah branches to achieve unified company objectives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is a strong advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of proven experience in sales and marketing, with a focused background in the automotive or durable consumer goods sector. This experience must include at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve challenging targets. Excellent communication and delegation skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in data analysis, understanding financial reports, and making informed strategic decisions.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in digital marketing tools, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and the Microsoft Office suite.
