SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant - Doha
Starlink WLL is actively recruiting for the position of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant to be based in their Doha, Qatar office. Job Description
The successful consultant will be integrated into the company's IT or digital transformation teams, serving as the primary expert for the SAP SD module. Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementation & Support: Leading or actively participating in projects involving the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the SAP SD module to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Requirements Analysis: Working closely with stakeholders from sales, distribution, logistics, and finance departments to understand, analyze, and translate their needs into effective technical solutions within the SAP system.
- Configuration & Setup: Configuring and setting up all aspects of the SD module, including sales management, order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
- Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of the SD module with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Controlling (CO), and Financial Accounting (FI).
- Troubleshooting: Providing Level 2/3 technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and responding to user inquiries.
- Training & Documentation: Preparing technical documentation and conducting training sessions for end-users on new processes and functionalities.
- Continuous Improvement: Proposing and implementing business process improvements by leveraging the full capabilities of the SAP SD system.
Requirements & Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Practical Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in an SAP SD consultant or support role, with proven involvement in at least one full project implementation lifecycle (from design to go-live).
- Deep Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the configuration and setup of all core and advanced SD processes.
- Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of SD integration points with other SAP modules like MM, FI, CO.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, strong problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Certification: SAP certification in the SD module is a significant advantage.
- Language: Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
