SAP BW / SAC Consultant - Opportunity in Doha with Starlink WLL

Starlink WLL is currently seeking to hire an SAP BW / SAC Consultant to be based in its offices in Doha, Qatar. Job Description and Responsibilities

The successful consultant will be integrated into a specialized technical team, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions. Key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing business requirements from various departments and translating them into effective technical specifications.
• Designing and building data models and advanced reports within the SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW environment.
• Developing interactive and clear dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to empower decision-makers with actionable insights.
• Implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using DataSources, DTPs, and Transformations in SAP BW.
• Optimizing the performance of BW systems and ensuring data query efficiency.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting operational issues related to SAP BW and SAC solutions.
• Working closely with business users to understand their needs and provide necessary training when required.
• Creating technical documentation for developed processes, models, and reports.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To be a suitable candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
• Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years in SAP BW consulting and development.
• Practical experience using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for creating dashboards and analytical reports.
• Deep understanding of business processes (e.g., Finance, Sales, Logistics) and how to model data to support them.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience working on SAP BW/4HANA projects is a significant strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
• Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an additional asset in the Qatari job market.
