Job Description
The Senior Auditor at EGA will play a pivotal role within the internal audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing independent, objective audit engagements to assess the effectiveness of the company's internal control, risk management, and governance processes. They will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Expected Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning & Execution: Lead and execute audit projects in accordance with the annual internal audit plan, with a focus on high-risk areas.
- Internal Controls Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls across different company divisions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalents are a significant advantage and often a key requirement.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in internal or external auditing, with preference given to experience in industrial, manufacturing, or commodities sectors.
- In-depth understanding of internal audit principles, risk management, and governance frameworks (e.g., COSO).
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
