Job Description
As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements. You will work closely with financial management to provide accurate insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Analyze financial data and report on financial performance and variances.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audit engagements.
- Develop and improve financial reporting procedures and controls.
- Prepare financial memos and ad-hoc analyses for senior management.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and implement them as required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or auditing, preferably within large corporations or reputable audit firms.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Odoo).
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
