Senior Manager - Change Management & Overseas Developments

Job Overview

The Senior Manager - Change Management & Overseas Developments holds a pivotal role in leading and overseeing major transformation initiatives within the organization, as well as supervising the planning and execution of development projects outside the local geographic scope. The right candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing change management strategies that ensure employee and stakeholder adoption of organizational and technological changes, while minimizing resistance and maximizing operational benefits. Concurrently, the focus will be on overseas development initiatives, ensuring international projects are aligned with the company's overarching strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Change Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive change management framework for large-scale transformational initiatives. Create effective communication plans, manage change resistance, and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Oversee Overseas Development: Plan, monitor, and execute development projects and operations outside the country. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and manage risks associated with cross-border operations.
  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to align change and overseas development initiatives with the organization's long-term vision and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including internal teams, partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies in foreign markets.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for change and development projects, and prepare detailed reports for senior management on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) will be a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on organizational change management and/or international project management or overseas development.
  • Proven experience in leading complex and successful change initiatives in large-scale organizations.
  • Deep understanding of change management best practices (e.g., Prosci methodology).
  • Experience working on projects or operations in multiple markets, with an understanding of cultural and regulatory challenges.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams across multiple functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
