Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join a specialized Value Added Tax (VAT) consulting team based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will lead consulting projects related to tax compliance, tax planning, and strategic advisory for clients across various industries.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing a team of consultants, ensuring service quality, and developing long-term client relationships. This role is pivotal in monitoring regulatory updates from the Federal Tax Authority and applying them to client operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute VAT consulting projects including compliance, tax reviews, and planning.
- Advise clients on the impact of VAT on their business operations and supply chains.
- Prepare and submit periodic tax returns for clients.
- Supervise teams, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Participate in business development and build relationships with new clients.
- Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on latest tax developments.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for tax efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in VAT consulting or indirect tax, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Skills:
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT laws.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to handle key clients and manage complex projects.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
