Job Description
The incumbent in this role will occupy a pivotal position bridging the technical depth of project requirements and product solution capabilities. It is not a traditional sales role, but one of a trusted technical consultant. Key responsibilities will include:
- Technical Sales Development: Providing advanced technical support throughout the entire sales cycle, from product introduction to deal closure.
- Proposal & Estimation Preparation: Analyzing project requirements (for residential, commercial, and hospitality buildings) and preparing competitive technical solutions and commercial offers for VRF systems.
- Client Interaction: Conducting meetings with engineering consulting firms, contractors, and real estate developers to understand their needs and present optimal solutions.
- Training & Presentation: Delivering presentations and technical training to potential and existing clients on the features and benefits of VRF systems.
- Post-Sales Support: Working closely with execution and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction and proper implementation of solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitoring market trends and competition and providing periodic reports to management.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Work Experience:
- For Sales Engineer: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical systems sales, with a strong preference for specific experience in HVAC, particularly VRF systems.
- For Senior Sales Engineer: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HVAC systems sales, with a proven track record of managing key accounts and closing complex deals in the UAE or Gulf market.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC principles and VRF system operation.
- Ability to read engineering schematics and drawings.
- Proficiency in using HVAC design and calculation software (e.g., HAP, Carrier Hourly Analysis) is a strong advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders.
- High-level negotiation and persuasion skills.
