Job Description and Responsibilities

The appointed Site Engineer will work directly at the project site, responsible for daily technical and executive supervision. Key responsibilities include:

• Field Supervision: Directly supervising all construction activities on-site to ensure work is executed according to approved technical specifications, designs, work plans, and the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Quality and Quantity Control: Ensuring the quality of materials used complies with specifications, and monitoring the quantities of work performed against plans and schedules.
• Coordination and Supervision of Contractors and Labor: Coordinating work between various subcontractors and work crews on-site, supervising their performance to ensure harmony and prevent conflicts in operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, recording any deviations from the plan, and documenting work hours and materials consumed. This also includes handling change request forms if applicable.
• Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensuring all site personnel adhere to strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and procedures, and assisting in the implementation of emergency plans.
• Communication: Acting as an effective liaison between project management at the head office and the site workforce, communicating reports and challenges clearly and in a timely manner.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing technical and execution challenges that arise during construction and finding practical, swift solutions in consultation with supervising engineers.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in construction site supervision, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects. Experience in infrastructure projects or residential/commercial buildings is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of building codes and standard specifications in Kuwait or the Gulf region.
• Personal Skills:

• Other Requirements: A valid Kuwaiti driver's license is preferred.
