Fitout Interiors & Contracting WLL is actively recruiting for the position of Site Engineer specializing in Fitout and Interior Finishing Projects in Doha, Qatar. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be the primary technical and administrative lead on the project site, focusing on ensuring the execution of fit-out and interior finishing works meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule. Key responsibilities include:

• On-Site Supervision: Providing daily leadership and direct supervision of work crews and subcontractors at the project site.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all fit-out works (such as joinery, flooring, false ceilings, painting, fixed furniture installation) are executed in strict compliance with approved technical specifications and design drawings.
• Schedule Adherence: Monitoring work progress on a daily and weekly basis, identifying potential delays, and proposing solutions to mitigate them to ensure timely project delivery.
• Health & Safety: Enforcing and implementing all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and company policies stringently on-site to prevent accidents.
• Coordination & Communication: Acting as the central liaison on the ground between company management, project consultants, clients, and suppliers. Preparing daily and weekly progress reports.
• Drawing Review: Studying shop drawings and architectural details prior to and throughout the execution phase.
• Material Management: Verifying the delivery and inspecting materials and equipment on-site to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Problem-Solving: Effectively addressing any technical or coordination issues that arise during execution and providing practical, timely solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (Site Engineer or Site Supervisor), with a strong focus on Fit-out and Interior Finishing Projects. Preferred experience includes work on commercial (offices, hotels, malls) or high-end residential projects.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various fit-out stages, interior building materials, installation methods, and quality specifications.
• Personal Skills: Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills (Arabic & English), and the capacity to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer software (MS Office) and engineering drawing viewers (e.g., AutoCAD Viewer). Knowledge of Qatari building regulations is a significant advantage.
• Certifications: Possession of HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) will be highly regarded.
