Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Civil Site Manager will have direct and full oversight of all technical, administrative, and execution aspects of assigned construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Supervision: Leading a complete site team including engineers, supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project execution adheres to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Planning & Scheduling: Developing detailed work plans and project timelines, ensuring adherence, and proactively managing any deviations or delays.
• Technical Oversight: Supervising all civil and structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, design drawings, contract terms, and local Saudi regulations.
• Quality & Safety Management: Implementing and enforcing comprehensive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs on the ground, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Cost & Budget Management: Monitoring and controlling project costs within the approved budget, reviewing contractor invoices, and preparing periodic financial reports.
• Communication & Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact between company management, the client, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective information flow and resolving any disputes or obstacles.
• Reporting: Preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports on work progress, achievements, challenges, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for senior management.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in managing sites for major construction projects, with proven experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of all construction phases, blueprint reading, material specifications, execution methodologies, and Saudi building codes (Saudi Building Code SBC).
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate multicultural teams in a dynamic, high-pressure work environment.
• Managerial Skills: Excellent skills in planning, organization, time management, problem-solving, and budget management.
• Professional Certifications: Preference for recognized professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or a Saudi Consultant Engineer certificate.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking). Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
