Job Description
Dicetek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems and services. This role requires a unique blend of engineering and software skills, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for early problem detection.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure scalability.
- Develop automation tools using Python or Go to reduce manual effort.
- Manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and deploy applications using Docker.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the CI/CD pipeline.
- Prepare periodic performance reports and recommendations for reliability improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role (SRE or DevOps).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python or Go.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
- Certifications (Preferred): AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) certifications.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Effective communication skills in English.
