Job Description
As a Finishing Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of finishing works in construction projects, from planning to final handover. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising the execution of interior and exterior finishing works (paint, flooring, ceilings, gypsum, ceramics, marble, carpentry, glass, etc.).
- Ensuring all works comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinating with various teams (contractors, suppliers, architects) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Reviewing shop drawings and technical plans, and resolving on-site technical issues.
- Preparing regular progress and quality reports.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in construction finishing and contracting.
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
