Job Description

The Technical Author will be integrated into a dynamic team, responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining a wide range of high-quality technical documentation. This role will focus on translating complex technical information into clear, accurate, and easily understandable content for diverse target audiences, which may include engineers, technicians, clients, and other stakeholders.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Technical Documentation Development: Write, edit, and update user manuals, installation guides, product specifications, online help documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the company's engineering projects and trading contracts.
• Content Management: Organize and structure the technical documentation library to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and consistency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and accurately understand technical requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

Associated Engineering Trading & Contracting is looking for candidates with the following background and skill set:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or any Science and Technology-related discipline.
• Work Experience: Proven prior experience in a Technical Author or Technical Writer role, preferably within an engineering, industrial, or trading environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word) and technical authoring tools.
