Job Overview

In an era of rapid digital transformation, the role of information security stands as a cornerstone for protecting digital assets and sensitive organizational data. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's technological infrastructure and ensuring compliance with the highest locally and globally recognized cybersecurity standards. Operating within the Corporate Services division framework, you will interact with various departments to support and enhance the security culture across the entire enterprise.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor networks and systems to detect suspicious activities or security breaches, analyze these threats, and assess their risk level.
  • Security Incident Management: Respond effectively to security incidents, conduct necessary investigations, develop containment and remediation plans, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Security Policy Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of information security policies, ensuring compliance from all users and systems.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Utilize specialized tools to conduct regular scans to identify vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks, and recommend remediation paths.
  • Security Awareness: Contribute to training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices for information protection.
  • Security Review for New Projects: Provide security consultancy for new technological projects to ensure security-by-design principles are integrated from the outset.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization's compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations and laws in force in the UAE.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

  • Nationality: Applicants must be UAE Nationals.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Security, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
  • Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized cybersecurity certifications is highly preferred, such as:
    • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
    • CompTIA Security+
    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
    • Or other globally acknowledged security certifications.
  • Experience: Proven practical experience in information security or related fields like network administration or systems engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption principles.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, capacity to work under pressure, strong written and verbal communication skills, and teamwork aptitude.
