A leading and specialized company in power and technical infrastructure solutions is seeking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer specialized in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to join their team in the Qatari capital, Doha. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Technical Engineer will be responsible for the full sales cycle of technical solutions related to UPS systems, focusing on understanding complex customer needs and providing appropriate solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Sales: Leading the sales process for UPS systems and related power solutions from the lead identification stage to deal closure.
  • Technical Support & Consultancy: Providing specialized technical support and consultancy to existing and potential clients, including analyzing their requirements and designing suitable technical solutions.
  • Proposal Preparation: Preparing and submitting detailed and comprehensive technical and commercial proposals and tenders that meet client specifications.
  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a diverse client base, including sectors such as data centers, finance, healthcare, industrial, and government entities.
  • Internal Collaboration: Working closely with engineering, technical support, and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions according to customer expectations.
  • Market Knowledge: Keeping abreast of the latest technical developments in the UPS and power systems market, understanding the competition and factors influencing the local market in Qatar.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering field.
  • Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in technical or engineering sales, with a strong focus on selling UPS systems, power solutions, or heavy electrical equipment. Experience in the Gulf market, particularly Qatar, is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the engineering principles of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, and electrical distribution systems. Knowledge of low and medium voltage systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and pitching skills in both Arabic and English, with strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Personal Skills: A proactive and dynamic personality, capable of working independently and in a team, with a strong goal-oriented and customer-service mindset.
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license is essential for client visits.
