Sales & Catering Manager Job in Doha

A leading and distinguished company within the hospitality or related services sector in Qatar is opening applications for the position of Sales & Catering Manager at its headquarters in the capital, Doha. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful manager in this pivotal role will be responsible for leading and developing the sales and services division, with a core focus on the catering and events segment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Strategy Leadership: Developing and implementing comprehensive sales plans for catering and event services to achieve the company's financial and promotional targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, including corporations, institutions, and individuals, to understand their needs and provide integrated solutions.
  • Catering Operations Management: Overseeing all aspects of catering operations for events, from planning and pricing to execution and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Pricing and Contracting: Preparing commercial proposals and contracts, negotiating terms to secure profitable and policy-compliant deals.
  • Team Management: Leading and guiding the sales and customer service team, providing training and support to enhance their performance and achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Working closely with the marketing department (if applicable) to help develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting the events and catering sector.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends and competition, identifying new growth opportunities for the company's services.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in service sales or hospitality sales, with a strong focus on catering and event management. Experience in the Qatari or GCC market is a significant advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high targets.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, with strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and sales performance, making informed decisions.
  • Organizational Skills: Superior organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in basic computer software, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
