Job Description

The Sr. Accountant will hold a pivotal role within the company's finance department, responsible for a range of complex accounting and financial tasks that require high precision and specialized knowledge. Key responsibilities will include overseeing financial records, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and contributing to financial analysis processes that support the company's strategic decision-making. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Oversee general ledger operations and ensure the reconciliation of all accounting entries.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processing.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with locally adopted accounting standards (IFRS) and tax regulations in the UAE.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes and provide required documentation.
• Analyze costs and revenues, providing insightful reports to management.
• Supervise junior accountants or the accounting team, providing necessary guidance.
• Utilize accounting and finance software systems (e.g., ERP - SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) proficiently.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in accounting, with proven experience in a senior accountant or accounting supervisor role.
• In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Hands-on experience using Financial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• High integrity and reliability in handling sensitive financial information.
