Job Description

As an HVAC Application Engineer, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing specialized technical support to the sales team and clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Equipment Design & Selection: Analyzing project requirements and selecting appropriate HVAC systems (air conditioners, air handling units, heat pumps, etc.) based on technical specifications and thermal loads.
• Technical Proposal Preparation: Preparing technical and commercial proposal documents, including schematic drawings and load calculations using specialized software such as HAP or Carrier.
• Sales Support: Working closely with the sales team to deliver innovative solutions to clients, including site visits when necessary.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicating with local and international suppliers to obtain the best technical specifications and pricing.
• Training & Technical Support: Providing internal training to the team on new products and emerging HVAC technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC applications, preferably in commercial and residential building sectors.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in thermal load calculation software (e.g., HAP, Carrier, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and local codes (e.g., Dubai Green Building Code).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional Certifications (preferred): Certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or LEED AP.
