Job Overview

The Area Lead serves as the central figure overseeing the operational performance and safety of a designated process plant (PT & TBT). Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Development & Training: Identify team skill development needs and organize appropriate training programs to enhance competencies.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant engineering discipline related to plant operations.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial settings, with at least 5 years of proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within process plants, preferably in the oil & gas or petrochemicals sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of process plant systems (PT & TBT), chemical engineering principles, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA). Knowledge of control systems and rotating machinery is a strong advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams in an operational environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical approach and the ability to make data-driven, decisive decisions.
  • Language: Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a beneficial advantage.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility to handle changing challenges.
