BMS Engineer - Doha, Qatar

Master Contracting and Trading, a leading contracting and trading company in Qatar, is seeking a highly skilled BMS Engineer to join their technical team in Doha.

Job Description

The company is looking for an experienced BMS Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of intelligent building management systems. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, power, and other mechanical/electrical systems through automated control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop BMS solutions for new projects based on client requirements and technical specifications.
• Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Direct Digital Controllers (DDC).
• Supervise the installation of BMS systems and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Perform system testing and commissioning.
• Maintain and upgrade existing BMS systems to improve performance and reduce energy consumption.
• Analyze system data and provide regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with different project teams (mechanical, electrical, civil) to ensure system integration.
• Train end-users on system operation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proficiency in control system programming (PLC, DDC).
• Excellent knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Experience with design software like AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
• Residency in Qatar or willingness to relocate.
