Job Description
Starlink WLL in Doha, Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Quality & Acceptance Lead to join their team. This critical role ensures that all products, services, and systems meet the highest quality standards and contractual requirements prior to final acceptance.
The successful candidate will lead the quality team, oversee inspection and testing processes, and manage the acceptance procedure with clients and subcontractors. This position requires a deep understanding of quality management systems, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality and acceptance plans for projects.
- Supervise inspection and testing of materials, equipment, and systems.
- Manage technical acceptance processes with clients and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO) and local Qatari regulations.
- Prepare and present quality and acceptance reports to senior management.
- Lead a team of quality engineers and technicians.
- Handle non-conformances and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in contract reviews to ensure quality requirements are included.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance and acceptance, preferably in telecommunications, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Certifications: Certified Quality Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) or CQI/IRCA certification.
- Skills: Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage), strong leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in quality management software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant Qatari and international standards.
