Job Description
Starlink WLL in Qatar is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join their team in Doha. This position represents an excellent opportunity for information security professionals with extensive experience in designing and implementing secure network and system infrastructures.
The Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies to protect the company's digital assets and ensuring compliance with international information security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive security architecture for networks and systems
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure best security practices
- Monitor emerging security threats and develop proactive solutions
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on cybersecurity status
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001
- Experience in designing security solutions for cloud networks and infrastructures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM and IDS/IPS
- Knowledge of encryption technologies and identity/access management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage security projects
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
