Job Description

The Catalogue Engineer will play a pivotal role within the company's technical team, responsible for managing and developing technical catalogues for the products and equipment handled by the firm. As PASSCODE GLOBAL operates in trading and contracting, the product range may include construction materials, industrial equipment, electrical and mechanical products, or other specialized technical goods.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Technical Catalogue Development & Management: Create, update, and maintain accurate and comprehensive product catalogues, including technical specifications, drawings, dimensions, and performance data.
• Coordination with Suppliers & Manufacturers: Act as a liaison between the company and its suppliers to obtain the latest technical data and marketing materials for products.
• Quality & Accuracy Assurance: Review all technical information in catalogues to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications, and that it is error-free.
• Support for Sales & Project Teams: Provide sales teams and on-site engineers with the necessary catalogues and supporting technical materials for bidding and project execution.
• Proficiency with Specialized Software: Competence in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, Content Management Systems (CMS), and digital catalogue publishing tools.
• Digital Transformation: Contribute to converting traditional paper catalogues into interactive, user-friendly digital formats for clients.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related technical field).
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (Catalogue Engineer, Product Engineer, or Technical Documentation Specialist), preferably within the trading, contracting, or industrial sector.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
  • A good understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of technical documentation standards and engineering drawings.
• Soft Skills:
  • High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in written and spoken English (mandatory). Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
