Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing integrated marketing and public relations strategies for a defined cluster of Accor hotels within a specific location in the Kingdom. You will operate under the regional marketing structure, working in close coordination with the General Managers and on-property teams.
Core responsibilities include:
- Develop & Execute Marketing Strategy: Create comprehensive annual and monthly marketing plans for the hotel cluster, aligning with the overall commercial objectives of each property and the global brand guidelines of Accor.
- Budget Management: Oversee the cluster's marketing and PR budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
- Lead PR & Reputation: Develop and implement proactive communication plans to enhance the hotels' image. This includes managing relationships with local and international media, organizing product launch events and special functions, and managing crisis communications if required.
- Oversee Digital & Traditional Content: Supervise the creation of compelling content across all channels, including websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and promotional materials, ensuring message and visual identity consistency.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular market and competitor research to identify opportunities and threats, providing data-driven strategic recommendations.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Directors of Sales, Reservations, and Revenue Management to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with sales targets, occupancy, and Average Daily Rate (ADR) goals.
- Team Management: In some structures, you may be responsible for supervising a small team of marketing and communications specialists.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in marketing and/or public relations, with a strong preference for experience in the hospitality/hotel sector (luxury hotel experience is a significant advantage). Previous experience working at a "cluster" level for multiple hotels is a strong plus.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a valuable addition.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders at various levels, and drive results in a complex environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellence in written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English (essential). Ability to craft clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Digital Acumen: Deep understanding of digital marketing, including social media management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and performance analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Media Network: An established network of contacts with relevant local and regional media in the travel and hospitality sectors.
