Qatar Navigation "Milaha" (Q.P.S.C) is inviting applications for the position of Customer Service Representative to be based in their office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Qatar Navigation is a leading transportation and logistics company in the Gulf region with a long-standing history in providing integrated maritime and shipping solutions. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will be stationed within the customer service department in Dubai and will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, reinforcing the company's market-leading reputation. The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reception & Response: Professionally receiving and responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other digital channels.
  • Problem Resolution: Handling and resolving customer complaints promptly and efficiently, working to find satisfactory solutions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Support & Follow-up: Providing technical and informational support to clients regarding the company's services, including maritime shipping, logistics services, and shipment tracking.
  • Documentation & Recording: Accurately documenting all customer interactions in the company's databases and registering new orders or modifications to existing services.
  • Internal Coordination: Acting as a liaison between the customer and other internal departments (such as Operations, Sales, and Logistics) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Contribution to Improvement: Providing valuable feedback to management on customer sentiments and recurring challenges to help improve service quality and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven prior experience of 1-3 years in a customer service or customer support role, preferably within the transportation, shipping, or logistics sector.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
    • Strong listening skills and empathy for customer needs.
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
    • Team spirit and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
