Job Description
The Data Analytics department at Gulf Air is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing operational and commercial data to support strategic decision-making within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data from multiple sources within the company and transform it into actionable insights
- Prepare periodic reports and advanced analytics for senior management
- Develop interactive dashboards using modern analysis tools
- Identify trends and patterns in data to improve operational performance
- Collaborate with different teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to provide data-driven solutions
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular auditing processes

Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- A Master's degree in Data Analytics or Business Administration is preferred
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis
- Previous experience in the aviation or transportation sector is a plus
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and R
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Advanced Excel)
- Understanding of database fundamentals and data modeling
- Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques is an advantage
