Sofitel Manama, a leading luxury hospitality hotel in Bahrain, is seeking a certified lifeguard to join their professional team. This position is open to candidates holding a valid Bahrain Lifeguard Certification with experience in hotel hospitality.

Job Description

As a Lifeguard at Sofitel Manama, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all guests using the pool and beach areas. Key duties include:

• Continuously monitoring the pool area to ensure guest safety.
• Responding immediately to emergencies and administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Enforcing hotel safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area and equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service and positive interaction with guests.
• Reporting any safety violations or concerns to the direct supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Bahrain Lifeguard Certification - mandatory requirement.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard, preferably in hotels or resorts.
• Strong knowledge of rescue techniques, first aid, and CPR.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
• High physical fitness and strong swimming skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
