Job Description

The appointed Facility Engineer at Surefix will be responsible for contributing to the efficiency, safety, and reliability of building or industrial plant systems. The role encompasses a range of critical engineering and operational tasks.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Oversight and Maintenance: Supervising preventive and corrective maintenance operations for core facility systems, which may include HVAC, electrical power, plumbing, fire protection, and security & safety systems.
• Contractor and Vendor Management: Coordinating with external contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed according to agreed specifications and standards.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitoring the performance of facility systems, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Advanced professional certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager - CFM) may be an added advantage.

Work Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience in facility engineering or management, typically a minimum of 3 to 5 years.
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC market and an understanding of its regulations is a significant advantage.
