Job Description & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the regional HR team, acting as a strategic business partner for the MEA region. Key responsibilities include:
- HR Operational Support: Managing the day-to-day HR operations for employees in the region, including recruitment and onboarding processes, documentation preparation, and data entry into HR systems.
- Recruitment & Selection: Assisting in the full recruitment cycle, from posting job advertisements and screening CVs to coordinating interviews and conducting reference checks, ensuring the attraction of top talent.
- Employee Relations Management: Serving as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding policy, procedure, and benefits inquiries, and working to foster a positive work environment.
- Development & Performance: Contributing to the implementation of employee development programs, supporting the annual performance review process, and identifying training needs.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensuring all HR practices in the region comply with local labor laws and regulations in each country, while maintaining global corporate policies.
- Reporting & Analytics: Collecting and analyzing data to prepare reports on HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rates and time-to-fill to support management decision-making.
- Benefits & Compensation Administration: Assisting in the implementation and communication of compensation and benefits policies to employees, and coordinating with local providers.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the Human Resources field, with proven experience in an HR Generalist or similar role. Experience in the Middle East and Africa region, particularly in the Saudi market, is a significant advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local labor laws and legislation in MEA countries (especially Saudi Arabia). Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to handle confidential information with high sensitivity and ethics.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
- Customer-service orientation and proactive problem-solving approach.
