Project Manager - Construction Sector

LoneStar Construction is actively recruiting for the position of Project Manager within the construction sector, to work on its promising projects in the Dammam and Abqaiq region of Saudi Arabia. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful Project Manager will be entrusted with the full oversight of the project lifecycle, from initial planning to final handover. Core responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Planning: Leading the multidisciplinary project team (engineers, contractors, consultants). Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Cost Control & Quality Assurance: Preparing and monitoring the project budget, ensuring strict adherence. Implementing rigorous quality control systems to guarantee all work meets technical specifications and relevant Saudi and international standards.
• Risk & Safety Management: Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation plans. Ensuring full compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations on-site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Coordination & Communication: Acting as the primary liaison between the company, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant government authorities. Preparing detailed periodic progress reports for senior management.
• Delivery & Closeout: Ensuring project delivery within the agreed schedule, approved budget, and required quality standards. Managing the final project closeout process, including documentation handover and obtaining necessary approvals.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field. A higher degree (Master's) will be a strong advantage.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of overall experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a Project Manager role. Experience managing infrastructure projects or major commercial/residential projects is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. In-depth understanding of construction phases, specifications, and local regulations.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to solve complex problems under pressure. Meticulous attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Work Location

The primary work base will be in Dammam, with occasional travel required to project sites in Abqaiq and surrounding areas in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
