HVAC Engineer/Supervisor Job in Muscat

SKY RIDGE UNITED INVEST LLC is currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer/Supervisor to join their operational team in Muscat, Oman. Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will hold dual technical and supervisory responsibilities for all HVAC-related activities. Key duties include:

• Technical Supervision: Directly oversee the design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems at various company project sites in Muscat.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all executed work complies with approved technical specifications, local and international building codes, and health & safety standards.
• Project Management: Plan, schedule, and monitor the execution phases of HVAC works. This includes managing human resources (technicians and laborers), materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints.
• Coordination & Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between company management, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding all HVAC project aspects.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults and operational issues in existing systems, and propose and implement effective, timely solutions.
• Reporting: Prepare regular technical progress reports, equipment status updates, and reports on any challenges or risks for senior management.
• Design Review: Review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications prior to and during execution to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related HVAC field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system engineering, design, and/or project supervision. Prior experience in the Omani or GCC market is highly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of central chilling plants, split & package units, ventilation systems, ductwork, and control systems.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, guide, and motivate a team of technical staff on-site.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work under pressure.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Certifications: Possession of recognized professional certifications in HVAC (e.g., from ASHRAE or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
