Project Control Analyst Job in Kuwait

Job Description
The Project Control Analyst will be responsible for a range of vital tasks that support project managers and the executive team. The work will focus on the international consulting projects managed by the company, requiring a precise understanding of industry standards and control mechanisms.
Key Expected Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Assisting in developing detailed project plans and schedules using specialized tools like MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Cost & Budget Monitoring: Tracking actual expenditures against the approved budget, analyzing variances, and preparing periodic cost reports.
- Reporting: Developing and presenting project performance reports (e.g., status reports, Earned Value Management - EVM reports) to senior management and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Assisting in identifying and assessing project risks and proposing mitigation plans.
- Change Control: Monitoring project scope change requests and evaluating their impact on schedule and cost.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring project control procedures follow best practices and the company's internal standards.
- Coordination & Support: Acting as a liaison between the project management team, execution teams, and other support departments.
Requirements and Qualifications

Core Qualifications:
- Academic Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role (project control, project planning, cost analysis), preferably in a consulting environment or engineering/construction sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (formulas, PivotTables) and Project.
- Knowledge of project management tools like Primavera P6 is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of project management principles (PMI) and cost/schedule control methodologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and deductive skills with attention to detail.
- Strong reporting and data presentation abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
