Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed QA Automation Engineer will be integrated into the Quality Assurance and Testing team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products prior to release. Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools for software systems and products.
• Creating and executing automated test scripts using standard automation languages and tools.
• Collaborating closely with Development teams and Product Managers to understand business requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
• Executing comprehensive test plans, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and Performance Testing as required.
• Analyzing test results, identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and defects in issue-tracking systems.
• Contributing to the improvement of QA processes and adopting best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensuring final products meet the highest quality standards and comply with client specifications and expectations.
• The role may also involve testing User Interfaces (UI) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Proven Experience: Demonstrable hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in one or more common automation programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Automation Tools: Practical experience with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Fundamental Knowledge: In-depth understanding of QA principles, Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), and agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory. Good command of English is also required for communication in a multinational work environment.
• Personal Skills: Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
