Job Description

The Radiology Department at NMC Healthcare is looking for a skilled and experienced Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating advanced medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations including X-Ray, CT Scan, and MRI as per physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process to ensure cooperation and comfort.
• Ensure proper functioning and calibration of all imaging equipment.
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the hospital information system.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal images for diagnosis.
• Maintain equipment and report any technical issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Nationality: UAE National (UAEN) - Mandatory.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiographer in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Licensing: Valid DOH (Department of Health - Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken), excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
