Turner & Townsend, a leading global consultancy firm specializing in project and program management, is seeking an experienced Project Director for Data Centres to join their team in Saudi Arabia.

Job Description

Turner & Townsend is looking for a seasoned leader to manage and direct critical data centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to delivery and commissioning. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
• Managing client and key stakeholder relationships.
• Developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
• Overseeing contract and procurement management.
• Providing regular project performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a clear focus on data centre or critical infrastructure projects.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate large, diverse teams.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of data centre systems (power, cooling, networking) and industry standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute).
• Professional Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Language: Fluency in English (spoken and written). Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Location: Willingness to work across multiple sites within Saudi Arabia.
