Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Key responsibilities include preparing journal entries, reviewing accounts, preparing monthly and annual financial reports, and participating in internal and external audits. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager to improve financial processes and ensure efficient cash flow management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA (strongly preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with preference for experience in the healthcare industry.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks).
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
