Job Description and Responsibilities
The Sales Engineer will be the cornerstone in bridging the company's technical capabilities with market and client needs. Key responsibilities will focus on:
- Technical Sales Support: Working closely with the sales team to provide technical support throughout all stages of the sales cycle, from initial product introduction to closure.
- Presenting Solutions and Demos: Preparing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to existing and potential clients, with the ability to explain complex features in a clear and compelling manner.
- Understanding Client Needs: Conducting meetings with clients to accurately understand their technical requirements and challenges, and designing/presenting appropriate solutions that address these needs.
- Preparing Technical Documentation: Developing technical proposal documents, system specifications, and responses to technical inquiries (RFI/RFP).
- Training and Support: Providing initial technical training to clients post-sale and acting as a liaison between the client and the internal engineering team to ensure successful solution implementation.
- Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest developments and trends in the technology market and competing products.
Qualifications and Key Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, or any related technical discipline.
- Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role (Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Technical Sales Support) within the technology or technical solutions sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical concepts relevant to the company's field of operation (e.g., network systems, software, specialized hardware, cybersecurity solutions, or others). Ability to learn new products quickly.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to translate between technical language and business benefits.
- Personal Skills: A proactive personality, ability to work within a team, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and initiative.
- Preference: Previous experience working in the Qatar or Gulf market will be an advantage for the applicant.
