Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will hold a pivotal role within the sales team, responsible for leading and growing the specialty chemicals portfolio in the Saudi market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies to increase market share for specialty chemical products across various industrial sectors.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with new prospects while nurturing existing clients in industrial and construction sectors.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial contact to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Providing technical and consultative support to customers, deeply understanding their application needs to propose suitable chemical solutions.
  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts, and monitoring market performance and competitor activity.
  • Working closely with internal marketing, engineering, and technical support teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Representing Gradiant at industry-specific trade shows and conferences.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related engineering field. A higher degree may be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in specialty chemicals sales or technical engineering sales, with a documented track record of sales achievements.
  • Deep knowledge of the Saudi market, particularly in sectors such as: water treatment, oil & gas, power, manufacturing, or construction.
  • Strong understanding of the technologies and practical applications of chemicals in industrial processes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all management levels.
  • Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team spirit.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
