Job Overview
The Senior Manager for Strategy Planning & Process Development occupies a pivotal position within the Authority's structure. Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead Strategic Planning: Develop, review, and update the overarching corporate strategy for the Oman Investment Authority, in coordination with senior management and stakeholders.
- Initiative Formulation: Design and lead key strategic initiatives that enhance portfolio value and support the long-term economic objectives of the Sultanate.
- Process Development & Improvement: Conduct comprehensive analyses of current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead business process re-engineering projects to boost efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency across various departments.
- Performance Framework & Metrics: Establish and implement Key Performance Indicator (KPI) frameworks and dashboards to monitor strategic progress and evaluate the success of initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in fields such as strategic planning, management consulting, business development, or operations management, with a significant portion in leadership roles. Experience within the investment sector, financial institutions, or sovereign wealth funds is a major competitive advantage.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in strategic analysis tools (e.g., SWOT, Porter's Five Forces), process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean), and data analysis/presentation software (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities, outstanding leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal), and the capacity to persuade and influence decision-makers. The ideal candidate must be able to perform under pressure and tackle complex challenges.
