Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will hold a pivotal position within the engineering team, with primary responsibilities including:
- Leading and developing mechanical designs for projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Preparing and executing engineering calculations, technical drawings, and detailed specifications for mechanical systems.
- Directly supervising and guiding a team of engineers and technicians to ensure output quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinating closely with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, architectural) to ensure system integration and achievement of overall project requirements.
- Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with international standards and local building regulations in the UAE.

- Preparing technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree will be a distinct advantage.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of practical experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven focus on the design and supervision of major projects. Experience in the GCC region, particularly in Dubai, is a significant advantage.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing and drainage systems, fire protection systems, and medical gas systems.
- Personal Skills: Excellent leadership abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional Certifications: Holding a recognized professional certification (such as PMP, CEng, or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
