Job Description

The Staff Security Engineer will play a critical role in safeguarding HungerStation's complex technological infrastructure and defending it against evolving cyber threats. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced security strategies, leading proactive security initiatives, and ensuring compliance with the highest standards of data security and protection.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Security Architecture Leadership: Develop and enhance the company's comprehensive security framework, including security policies, preventive controls, and incident response mechanisms.
• Application & Infrastructure Security: Conduct regular security assessments (e.g., penetration testing, code reviews) of applications, systems, and cloud environments. Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend, propose, and remediate effective solutions.
• Monitoring & Response: Oversee intrusion detection systems and security monitoring (SIEM). Lead security incident response teams from investigation through containment and recovery.
• Awareness & Training: Foster a security-conscious culture within the company by training development and operations teams on security best practices (DevSecOps).

Requirements and Qualifications
